And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the temple servants, and all who separated from the people of the lands unto the law of God; their women, their sons and their daughters (all who knowing, understood),
determined with their brothers, their nobles, and entered into a curse and an oath to walk in the law of God, which was given by the hand of Moses servant of God; and to observe and do all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord and his decrees and his statutes.
Also that we would not give our daughters to the people of the land and we would not take their daughters for our sons.
And the people of the land, when they bring goods and all kinds of food to sell on the Sabbath day, we would not buy from them on the Sabbath or on a holy day. And we will let rest the seventh year, and the debt of every hand.
And we took upon us the commands to give; upon us a third of a shekel each year for the service of the house of our God,
for the bread of the presence, and for the regular offering, the regular burnt offerings of the Sabbaths, the new moons, for the appointed times, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and all the work of the house of our God.
And we— the priests, the Levites, and the people— cast lots for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, to the house of our fathers, at the stated times year after year, to be burned on the altar of Yahweh our God, as written in the law.
And to bring the firstfruits of our soil, and the firstfruits of any fruit of any tree year after year to the house of Yahweh;
and to bring to the house of God— to the priests, ministering in the house of our God— our firstborn sons, and our livestock, as written in the law, and the firstborn of our herds and our flocks.
And the first of our dough and our wave offerings, and the fruit of every tree, wine, and oil we will bring to the priests, to the storerooms of the house of our God. And the tithes from our soil to the Levites; and they, the Levites, may collect the tithes in all the towns where we serve.
And it will be that the priest, a son of Aaron, with the Levites, will receive tithes from the Levites. And the Levites will bring a tenth of the tithes to the house of our God, to the storerooms of the house of the treasury.
For the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi will bring to the storerooms the wave offerings of grain, wine, and oil; and there will be the articles of the sanctuary and priests who are serving, and the gatekeepers, and the singers. And we will not neglect the house of our God.
